Event description

We are super excited to offer this unique camp this summer!  Campers will design and build a variety of  styles puppets and masks.  Together we will explore over sized storytelling, creating with found materials, and character design.   As with all our camps we will work around a basic theme and these giant puppets will create a puppet circus!  Kids get an understanding of both the technical and theatrical aspects of puppet plays. By the end of the week, campers have hands-on experience with the planning, development, design, production, and be ready to show off their creative work at a grand performance!  We will also video our puppets and watch ourselves perform.

The 5-day, weeklong camp ends with a performance for family and friends. Participants will be proud to take home their own creations on the last day of camp (they will take home the puppets they create).
